Our Beliefs
Jesus Christ
We believe Jesus Christ is Lord and that He is the only way to a relationship with the Christian God. That through His perfect life and sacrificial death atoned for the sins of all who will trust in Him, alone, for salvation.
Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” John 14:6
Trinity
We believe in the Holy Trinity. There is one God, who exists eternally in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

“And the Holy Spirit descended upon Him [Jesus] in bodily form like a dove, and a voice came out of heaven, “You are My [the Father’s] beloved Son, in You I am well-pleased.” Luke 3:22
Original Sin
Man was originally created in the image and likeness of God (Genesis 1:27) : he fell through disobedience, incurring thereby both physical and spiritual death. All men are born with a sinful nature (Romans 3:23) , are separated from the life of God, and can be saved only through the atoning work of the Lord Jesus Christ (1 Corinthians 15:20-23).

"For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God."
- Romans 3:23
Salvation
We believe God loves all people and salvation is for everyone.
“For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes In Him shall not perish but have everlasting life.” John 3:16
Identity
We believe that all people were created in the image and likeness of God.
“God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them.” Genesis 1:27
The Bible
We believe the Bible is the written word of God, inspired by the Holy Spirit and without error in the original manuscripts. The Bible is the revelation of God’s truth and is infallible and authoritative in all matters of faith, life and practice.

“And we also thank God constantly for this, that when you received the word of God, which you heard from us, you accepted it not as the word of men but as what it really is, the word of God, which is at work in you believers.”
1 Thessalonians 2:13
The Church
Every person who is born of the Spirit is an integral part of the church as a member of the body of believers. There is a spiritual unity of all believers in our Lord Jesus Christ (Ephesians 1:22, 2:19-22; Hebrews 12:23; John 17:11, 20-23).

"Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching." - Hebrews 10:25
Community
We believe that our weekly gathering is a place for people to come as they are and find rest and encouragement from a place of shared food, worship, and teaching.
“They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and prayer… And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.” Acts 2:42, 47
Spirit-Filled Believer
We believe It is the will of God that each believer should be filled with the Holy Spirit and be sanctified wholly (1 Thessalonians 5:23), being separated from sin and the world and fully dedicated to the will of God, thereby receiving power for holy living and effective service (Acts 1:8).
“Don’t you realize that all of you together are the temple of God and that the The Spirit of God lives in you?” 1 Corinthians 3:16
Kingdom Empowerment
We believe that God is still alive today and moves powerfully in and through the lives of others as vessels for His kingdom.
"‘In the last days,’ God says, ‘I will pour out my Spirit upon all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy. Your young men will see visions, and your old men will dream dreams." Joel 2:28, Acts 2:17
The Second Coming
We believe that Jesus will return, bodily and visibly, to judge all mankind and to receive His people to Himself.
“So Christ, having been offered once to bear the sins of many,
will appear a second time, not to deal with sin but to save those who are eagerly waiting for him.” Hebrews 9:28
